Italy.. then off to Greece

Before we headed to big adventures...
Dinner with the Italian cousins!

The rain in Italy couldn't get us down. Before flying to Greece we headed out for a train trip to Venice. We toured a glass factory, had a nice walk, and the highlight- a 2 hour, multi-course lunch. It was pasta and seafood and many drinks.
Little miss up to no good on the train.

Glass making. Cool stuff!

Rain rain go away!

Ferry ride to the restaurant!

Enjoying the long lunch!

This one is for Grammer! Recreating his last visit to the Piazza San Marco.

The next day we headed to Greece with Amy and Katerina for a four day olive eating side trip.
Katerina learned all kinds of fun new ways to travel. The boys wanted to do this too. They have no idea how much they weigh now.

We arrived at dinner time and checked out the area around the Acropolis at night.

Picking out cutting boards in the Plaka.

Up the next morning for a breakfast of olives before touring the Parthenon and some museums.

Oops, a stolen, and then recovered iPhone had us trapped in the Athens police station for a few hours after breakfast.

But we didn't let that get us down and had a birthday lunch celebration for Jack and Will and Katerina.

Posing at the Parthenon.

And another dinner of Greek salads! Yum!

The hotel is always the most fun for little people. Dressing up in auntie Julie's clothes.

Modeling the lovely Athens graffiti.

Trip to the archaeology museum. It was more fun to wrestle big cousin Will.

Ran into a high school friend at the museum!

Now for the important stuff before we go home...

Olives!!!

Posing at the Olympic stadium. Bye Greece!
