Camping with Dayna

Dayna came to visit in July. We picked her up in Anchorage and headed down to the little town of Hope Alaska for some gold panning. On the way back home we stopped in Talkeetna for the night.

The following weekend we went on our annual camping trip with the Biddles. We met them at the Donnelly Creek campground near Black Rapids. It was a great time. The weather was amazing and there were no bugs or bears!

Moms got right into relaxing while the kids played in the creek.

We got one short downpour but Dayna decided the rain gear was a good idea. Here she is creating a pie-iron gourmet meal.
