School finished in mid May. Before the leaves came out the boys got busy on various adventures.
A 5 minute stop at the museum to drop something off turned into a 2-hr visit to the art exhibits and crafting workshop. The boys came home inspired and set up their own art table. It gets a lot of use.
Eli and Ezra came over for pizza one night with their parents. I told Krista to bring pjs. We let the boys get totally filthy and then tossed them into the shower, and into their pjs before they headed home to bed. They were actually dumping pails of silt on each other!
(if you look closely you will see a kid in all that dust!)
Finally everything turned green in the last week of May. It got nice and warm. We put the sprinkler out next to the sand box one day and Jack said "Mom! We are at the beach!"
On one of Jeff's days off he took the boys out to explore an abandoned mine.
Will said he loved that kind of beach. They could have explored for days! Summer vacation is fun!
