Jack started kindergarten! He is at a charter school with a full day kindergarten program. The focus is on the outdoors and the community (in addition to the regular academic stuff). Jack was happy to have 2 recesses, a hike, lego & playdough, and his friend Dylan. Day one went well. Jack was tired at bed time but didn't fall asleep in the car. We started a new tradition today, a first day photo in front of the small tree at school. It will probably get bigger faster than Jack does. We also borrowed another tradition from friends who go to the same school. We ended the first day with ice cream at Hot Licks.
