Construction Update

Things are moving along with our construction project. We are far from done (that might be a year from now!) but all of the major work that required contractors is coming to an end. The upstairs is all sealed in. We have a drywaller in upstairs this week to mud and tape. I am hoping we are ready to move up there by Thanksgiving (we are going to tile the bathroom, paint, and do flooring and trim ourselves over the winter).

Will's room. We all have the same windows, but his are next to each other so he has a fantastic view!!

My tiny little office!

Downstairs we had the living room and kitchen walls re-framed for new doors and windows and an arctic entry built on the new deck. Most of the windows are now in downstairs. All new doors and locks too. We will be saying good bye to our carpenters next week and taking on the rest of our project (walls, painting, the bathroom, and the KITCHEN) ourselves. So things are far from done, but much improved.

Check out the new living room windows and double doors out onto the deck.

We will have a great view all the time! Right now we have a view of a snow storm.

Oh Jul, it looks great! Will does have a nice view. How lucky both of your boys are to grow up in such a nice home on nice land! I can't wait to see what color you paint the walls!

AWESOME!!! It will be so nice not to have someone else in your house eveyday I am sure! Even just tackling room by room - you can live in it ... YEAH!!!
