Back at home in October...no snow yet and extra time to get things done around the house. We had a roasted pig party... Jeff cooked a large fresh ham in an underground oven for many hours. It was delicious. We babysat a small dog for the weekend. He was very cute and made us quite sure that we are not ready for another dog yet (at least the parents)... Marathon training continued and Jeff and I participated in the Hoodoo Half marathon...run for beer! We made some new garden beds and reorganized our wild perennials..we love eating up lawn! Finally, Grand Nana turned 95 at the end of the month! Jennie and Mom and Dad were in Calgary to help celebrate.
Pig roast.
This little dog can run! Teek after a 7 mile run the day before and then a 5k with the kids in the morning!
Spiderman saves the day!
Bringing home some peonies with my helper.
Happy 95th Nana!!
