We had nice weather in August! One or two last camping trips and swims before school started. We took a trip down to Delta. Mom did some work and we camped at the Holzeman site where they found a mammoth tusk! We did a last fun family trip out to Harding Lake. We brought the kayaks and got some stand-up paddle boats. We had a hot day and the kids had a lot of fun. At the end of the month we had the start of school (they were happy to be back even if they wouldn't admit it), the fair came to town, and running club started. Fall finally came too! We emptied out most of the garden but mild temperatures meant we had food in the ground into September.
