The next dat we hiked out to Green Sands Beach. It is 3 miles off the main road and you can only get there walking or on a very bumpy 4 wheel drive vehicle. Once you get to the top, there is a steep cliff leading down to the beach. The sand is green because of olivine crystals in the basalt. It is a pretty cool adventure and nice to have boys that are big enough to walk all that way (and back) by themselves.
Muffin and fruit breakfast at the b&b.
Made it to the beach!
Climbing the cliffs.
Another great castle.
Crazy drift wood stump.
Back out and at South Point for the sunset.
Ancient Hawaiian canoe tying hole.
View at the southern most point of the US!
