Day two took us down the hill to Kealakekua Bay, the bay with the Captain Cook Monument and great snorkeling. We rented a boat and paddled out to the monument with a picnic. Jack discovered the fun of coral reefs and tropical fish. Will took it easy on the boat. Afterwards we headed up to Kona to do a couple of errands and stopped at the cocoanut guy. Buying a cocoanut was a whole show! We had a nice pizza dinner at a small Italian place, chatting with some locals.
