After going to the gingerbread competition for many years, and fully enjoying it, we finally participated this year. Jack's class had a major entry, they built the whole Watershed School. Lynne, our babysitter and multi-year competition grand prize winner, directed the class in their masterpiece. Will also made a gingerbread Itchalik (Athabaskan skin tent) with her son Bridger, and the night before the event we slapped together two more entries for fun. Next year we will have to get started a little earlier. The boys love it.

The kids put the whole thing together with Lynne's help. Jack liked making the people.

Will's entry. It was supposed to be Papa's pool (??).
Jack made a "modern cabin" with a shed roof.
