Two weeks ago we headed to Italy for Jeff's sister's wedding and some touring and eating. We flew Condor from Anchorage to Frankfurt and then hopped over to Venice. The flight goes over the pole and takes only 9 hours from Alaska to Germany. Much better than taking the long route across the U.S. Amy and Christian run a
bed and breakfast in the town of Feltre, in the mountains of northern Italy. It is absolutely beautiful there. We took over 700 photos in 2 weeks, so it will probably take me 2 more weeks to get all of the highlights up! Here is the beginning of our trip.

Travel lego kit for the plane and airports. Jack can really keep busy on the plane. Will was a bit more of a monkey.

We had a suitcase full of things to do on the long plane ride. Jack is unlocking one of them.

Condor let us use the baby bassinet so we could put Will down. He lasted about 5 minutes in it, but it was great for holding our stuff.

We hit the ground running with our first gelato. Jack had limone (lemon). Lemon and chocolate chip gelato (not together) became a staple meal for Jack over the trip.

We drove from Venice to the B&B in Feltre right away. Here Will enjoys Amy's wedding present from her mom.

Jack found a little sink to wash his hands.

Grammer was happy to see her boys.

Our first pizza in Italy! Thin crust and salami... never "real" peperoni, much to Jack's dismay.
